Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Will Egg Harbor AleFest be held in 2020?
Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 we have made the difficult decision to cancel AleFest for September 19, 2020. This decision was incredibly hard to make as we look forward to this fun event every year and enjoy seeing both new and return faces! This even cannot happen withouth commitment and sacrifice from our volunteers and staff, and it is simply too much to ask of them during a public health pandemic.

All tickets purchased online or through Etix Call Center with credit or debit card will be refunded automatically. Due to high volumes, you should expect to see your refund within 14-21 business days. We do apologize for any inconvenience.

We hope that you will plan to join us next year! Until then, Cheers!

Q: Are there other means of transportation in Door County?
Door County is distinctly not urban, and public transportation is not readily available. There are a few cab companies that originate from Sturgeon Bay that may be available for transportation. If you do not plan on walking from a nearby hotel or taking advantage of the shuttle, we recommend arranging responsible transportation or having a designated driver before attending the event.  The laws are very strict on drinking and driving; it is simply not worth taking a chance. No. Carry-ins will not be allowed.

Q: What if it rains?
The event will be held rain or shine. Watch the weather forecasts, and check our Facebook page or this web site for updates. Severe weather (beyond the norm) would be the only possible way that the festival may be postponed or canceled. We do not expect this to happen.

Q: Are dogs allowed on the grounds of the festival?
Yes, however we ask that you use your best judgement. While we love our furry friends, it may not be the best environment for them. The music is loud, the grounds are fairly crowded, and there isnt a lot of extra space. If you do choose to bring your dog, they MUST be leashed, well behaved and please make sure you clean up any messes as soon as possible. Dogs are NOT allowed on the shuttle.
